ABNA24 - The head of the Iraqi Sunni Scholars Association criticized Donald Trump's political and personal approaches, emphasizing that disregard for human and international principles is the greatest threat to global peace.
Sheikh Khaled al-Mulla, head of the Iraqi Sunni Scholars Association, stated that the greatest threat to global peace is holding the lives and destinies of people hostage by those who ignore international principles, values, and treaties.
He asserted that instability and humanitarian crises in the world are the direct result of behaviors rooted not in rationality, but in tyranny and recklessness. According to him, when personal interests override human and social principles, the security of humanity anywhere in the world faces collapse.
The prominent Iraqi cleric went on to cite Donald Trump as a clear example of such an approach, saying: "With his capricious temperament and hasty decisions, Trump has driven the world toward chaos and the breakdown of international structures." He emphasized that the continuation of this situation poses a threat to the political stability and collective security of nations.
Sheikh al-Mulla added: "There is no way to restore peace and stability except by ending this folly—something that millions of Americans, more than anyone else, have already rejected, demanding a change in course."
